One Nation One Poll Is A Praiseworthy Effort: UP CM Yogi Adityanath – WATCH

Lucknow: Hours after government formed a committee to study ‘One Nation One Poll’ under the leadership of former President  Ram Nath Kovind on Friday Spetmeber 1, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed the idea.

While speaking to ANI, Yogi Adityanath said;

“During the process of elections, development works or new policies get hindered. It is required that we conduct Lok Sabha, Assembly and all other elections together. I welcome this step...”

The Chief Minister also expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for pitching the idea.

Notably, ‘One Nation One Poll’ bill is likely to spearhead the discussion during special screening of Parliament, scheduled from September 18 to September 22.
