Demolition Drive In Nuh Is Illegal, Says Congress MLA

Haryana: While the authorities in Nuh district is carrying out demolition drive on illegal structures and on houses of those suspect eruption clashes in Haryana on July 31, Congress MLA Ch Aftab Ahmed has hit back at the drive stating it ‘illegal.’

While speaking to ANI, Ch Aftab Ahmed, Congress MLA from Nuh district has said that the ‘demolition drive is illegal and nothing will be achieved by this action.’

“The accused should be punished severely if found guilty, but demolishing houses, shops of the poor is not right,” he said.

Nuh Violence: Divisional Magistrate claims 45 illegal structure

On Saturday, Sub Divisional Magistrate of Nuh Ashwini Kumar claimed that 45 illegal structure and 13-15 temporary illegal structures were bulldozed near the Nalhar Medical College.

“This has been done on the direction of CM Manohar Lal Khattar. The encroachment was spread across 2.5 acres. All of it was illegal construction. It has been found that some of these people had involvement in the recent clashes,” Kumar said.
