Viral Video: Retired IAS Officer In Noida Slaps Lady In Elevator Over A Dog

NOIDA: A confrontation occurred in a Noida housing society elevator between a retired IAS officer and a couple who had their dog with them.

The incident took place in Parx Laureate Society in Noida Sector 108 around 6 pm. A video of the incident, which has since gone viral on social media, depicts the exchange between the woman and the retired bureaucrat.

After an attempt to take his phone, the retired officer slapped the woman. Subsequently, the woman’s husband engaged in a physical altercation with the retired officer. Several residents of the society, as well as a security guard, attempted to intervene as the scuffle persisted.

Upon receiving a PCR call regarding the incident, a police team was dispatched. However, both parties reportedly settled the dispute during a society meeting, and no formal complaints were made.

No injuries were reported, and the situation is said to be under control, according to ACP (Noida) Rajneesh Verma.
