NIA to travel London to investigate attack on Indian High Commission by pro-Khalistani group

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will visit London to probe the pro-Khalistani protests and vandalism which took place outside the Indian High Commission, last month.

As reported by India Today, the investigating agency will record statement of a few people during its visit to Britain.

Meanwhile, officials will also check footage of the CCTV camera installed outside the Indian High Commission in London.

Earlier last week, the Ministry of Home Affairs allowed the NIA to take over the investigation, which was earlier being investigated by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police.

Notably, pro-Khalistani group attacked Indian High Commission in London, and grabbed tricolour flying atop the commission, which was grabbed by a group of protesters waving Khalistan flags.
