Netizen disappointed as Rohit Sharma perished for 11 in Eliminator against Lucknow in IPL 2023

Chennai: After winning the toss and opting to bat first in a must-win Eliminator 1 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Mumbai Indian skipper Rohit Sharma provided solid start to his side by smashing couple of picturesque boundaries within power play.

While Ishan Kishan took the onus in first two overs, Rohit unleashed his beats mode in the 3rd of the game by smashing 6, 4, 4 off Lucknow skipper Krunal Pandya.

Rohit Sharma’s best was expected in a high-stake game, but the right-handed legend perished way too early in the game, leaving MI fans disappointed.

It was Naveen-ul-Haq who trapped MI skipper in the 4th over of the game. Rohit tried to loft over cover, but failed to get the elevation, handing easy catch to Ayush Badoni. Rohit’s dismissal reduced Mumbai to 30/1 in 3.2 overs as the skipper could only add 11 off 10.
