Nearly 35 Killed, 100 Injured In A Deadly Explosion In A Political Rally In Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Pakistan: A deadly explosion in Pakistan has reportedly killed as many as 35 people and over 100 injured on Sunday. The explosion took place during Islamic political party’s meeting in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province bordering Afghanistan.

Reportedly, the explosion took place at the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl worker’s convention in Khar, capital city of Bajaur tribal district. Chief Minister Azam Khan condemned the blast and sought a report from the administration.

Meanwhile, Maulana Ziaullah Jan, a prominent leader of the JUI-F in Khar, also succumbed to injuries in the blast. The nature of the blast is being determined by the relevant investigative authorities.
