Nawazuddin Siddique and Urvashi Rautela get notice for ‘misleading ad’

Apex central agency to ensure consumer protection has slapped notices on gaming company Lotus 365 and three Bollywood celebrities for endorsing the firm with ‘misleading claims.’ 

The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has sought responses from the gaming platform and celebrities like Nawzuddin Siddique and Urvashi Rautela over their advertisement where company claimed that it’s the ‘most trusted sports exchange since 2015.’ 

As reported by Times of India, Lotus 365 and Bollywood celebrities have been asked to verify the authenticity of their claim. 

Meanwhile, the consumer affairs ministry had asked celebrities to carry out ‘specific due diligence’ while endorsing product services.
