Ind vs WI: Speedster Mukesh Kumar Reveals How Virat Kohli Made His Test Debut Special

Indian speedster Mukesh Kumar was in different world when former Indian skipper Virat Kohli came to congratulate him on his debut wicket on Sunday, July 27 during second Test match against West Indies at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, in Trinidad.
Playing his debut Test match for Team India, 29-year-old Mukesh made a remarkable impact as he clinched 2 wickets in the 1st innings and finished with figures of 18-6-48-2.
After the inning ended, Mukesh Kumar admitted that it was a weird feeling when someone like Virat Kohli came to him and hugged him after he dismissed Kirk McKenzie as his debut wicket.
“When I got the wicket, Virat bhaya ran up and hugged me. I was in a different world. The man I have watched all these years on TV and looked up to is hugging you. It felt great,” Mukesh told Md. Siraj in an interaction for BCCI.TV.
When asked about his feeling on making Test debut for India, Mukesh Kumar revealed that he was shocked when he heard that he will be playing for Team India.
Speaking of the match, West Indies need 289-runs on Day 5 of the Test match with 8-wickets in hand.
