New Delhi: In a significant development in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case, a team of security agencies have gone to Azerbaijan to arrest gangster Sachin Bishnoi – key conspirator in the Punjabi singer’s death.
Reportedly, Bishnoi is the nephew of the notorious criminal Lawrence Bishnoi and has been on the run since the murder in May last year. He had also fled the country using a forged passport.
As per India Today, Delhi Police Special Cell is likely to reach Azerbaijan by tonight.
The team of four officers, including an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), and two inspectors from the Counter Intelligent Unit has been tasked to ensure Sachin Bishnoi’s successful extradition to India.
Bishnoi was reportedly detained in Azerbaijan a few days ago. Now with the Indian security agencies’ arrival, his extradition is likely to take place soon.
