I Am Disappointed: Mike Hesson Posts Heartfelt Note After Getting Sacked From RCB; Faf du Plessis Reacts

Ahead of the IPL 2023, Royal Challengers Bangalore made a crucial amendment in their coaching staff as they sacked Director of Cricket Mike Hesson and batting coach Sanjay Bangar instead appointed Andy Flower as the head coach.

Now days after the official announcement, Mike Hesson has posted a heartfelt note for all the RCB fans and expressed his gratitude towards their unwavering support. Taking to Instagram, Hesson wrote;

“Although we were able to make good progress making 3 playoffs in the last 4 seasons we were not able to win the elusive trophy 🏆 that I like so many players, support staff and the amazing fans so dearly wanted.”

He further confessed that he is extremely disappointed to be leaving RCB but he will keep all the fond memories intact to his heart. Check the post here.

Meanwhile, RCB skipper Faf du Plessis reacted to his post and stated that he ‘really enjoyed working with him’ and wished him ‘great luck’ for the future. Check the post here.

Speaking of RCB, the Bangalore franchise will be looking forward for better results after roping in Andy Flower, who has coached Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings, in the past.
