WATCH: Lashkar-e-Taiba Commander Uzair Khan Killed In Anantnag Encounter

Jammu and Kashmir: In a significant development, Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Uzair Khan has been neutralised on Tuesday, ending 7-day long Anantnag encounter.

Security officials recovered a weapon from the killed terrorists along with the body of another unidentified man. ADGP Police Vijay Kumar confirmed the death of Uzair Khan.

LeT commander Uzair Khan has been killed, with the recovery of his weapon. Additionally, another terrorist’s lifeless body has been found. The Anantnag encounter has concluded,” ADGP Police Vijay Kumar said.
