Kisne Hathiyar Diye Unko: BJP Minister Rao Inderjit Singh On VHP Over Nuh Violence

Haryana: Days after Nuh violence shocked the nation by taking life of six, Gurugram MP and Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Rao Inderjit Singh said raised questions over the rally taken out by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal.
“Kisne hathiyar diye unko is procession mein le jaane ke liye? Koi talwar leke jata hain procession mein? Lathi-dande leke jata hain (who gave weapons to them for the procession? Who goes to procession carrying swords, or sticks)? This is wrong,” the BJP Minister was quoted by The Indian Express.
He further added that a provocation took a place from this side too.
“I am not saying there was no provocation from the other side,” he added. Watch the video.
The BJP Minister further said that the Haryana government will conduct an inquiry into how ‘both the groups managed to get weapons.’
Meanwhile, VHP International working president Alok Kumar lashed out at Rao Inderjit Singh over his earlier remark.
“He (Rao Inderjit Singh) saw sticks being carried in the procession, but he didn’t see guns and weapons used by the Muslim side,” he added.
