Khalistan demand is no different from call for Hindu Rashtra: Pro Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh

Backing the growing demand of Khalistan, radical Sikh preacher Amritpal Singh feels that the idea of Khalistan is ideal than ‘Hindu Rashtra.’

When somebody says ‘Hindu Rashtra’ zindabad, what is Hindu Rashtra? Where is it established? People don’t threatened with it,” Singh told news agency ANI.

Additionally, he also reiterated that ‘Khalistan’ call is completely opposite of demand of ‘Hindu Rashtra.’

Amritpal Singh also claimed that the discussion over Khalistan is ‘quite normal’ in Punjab and only those who are not well aware of the nerves of Punjab gets agitated with it.

“When you don’t visit Punjab very often and when you see everything through media, it looks very scary. But it is not. It is a very normal discussion in Punjab,” added Singh.

The 29-year-old Pro Khalistani believes the idea of Hindu Rashtra is too extreme as ‘if someone who is not Hindu will be dead.’ “The idea of Khalistan is too pure. It’s ideal raj of Khalistan,” he said.
