NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed deep sadness as he shared a photo of Manish Sisodia embracing his wife before heading back to Tihar jail.
Kejriwal questioned the fairness of the situation, emphasizing Sisodia’s role in inspiring hope for the underprivileged children. Sisodia, the former education minister of Delhi, was granted a six-hour visit with his wife by the court.
Despite the court’s order against media interaction, Sisodia lit diyas at home for ‘Chhoti Diwali.’ Sisodia’s wife, Seema Sisodia, battles multiple sclerosis.
Sisodia’s arrest in February, connected to an alleged liquor scam, has seen repeated bail rejections, with the Supreme Court suggesting a potential money trail in the case.
