Karnataka Elections 2023 || Why hashtags like #SaveNandini and #GoBackAmul are trending on Twitter.

As Amul announced to make entry in a market in a poll-bound Karnataka, social media is buzzing with trends like #SaveNandini and #GoBackAmul.

Earlier, former Chief Minister Siddaramahia targeted BJP for  intentionally trying to hurt the market of state’s leading brand, Nandini, operated by Karnataka Milk Federation.

In a fresh development, Bruhat Bengaluru Hotels Association has now decided to use only ‘Nandini’ milk to “support the state’s dairy.”

“We want our rights, land, soil and milk to be protected. We don’t want the Gujarat model. We have Karnataka model here,” Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivkumar told India Today.

On Friday, senior Congress leader Siddaramaiha said all Kannadigas should pledge ‘not to buy Amul products.’
