Karnataka Elections 2023: Why BJP and Congress are fighting over milk 

As Amul reveals its plan to foray into the Bengaluru market, former Karnataka Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah has targeted BJP for trying to destroy the state’s leading brand, Nandini, operated by Karnataka Milk Federation.

Meanwhile, cooperation minister ST Somashekhar has said that nothing can harm Nandini, and in case of any such threat government would not shy away from saving Nandini. 

“Amul and KMF have a good relationship. There is no question of challenging them (KMF). We will selling milk only through quick commerce and e-commerce routes.
