Jawan Box Office Day 1: SRK Film Mints Rs 150 Crore Worldwide

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan made an outstanding opening at the box office on Day 1. Released on September 7, the film did massive business at the box office collecting whopping Rs. 75 crore in India.

Speaking of worldwide box office, the film minted more than Rs. 150 crore. Jawan is now the biggest opener of Bollywood of all time.

As per trade reports, Jawan saw an overall occupancy of 58.67 per cent in the Hindi version on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chennai witnessed the Highest occupancy with 81 per cent.

Jawan also grossed AUD 400,000 on Thursday in Australia, becoming the first Indian film to achieve the feat at Australia box office.

About Jawan

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Jawan also features Vijay Sethupati and Nayanthara in pivotal roles. Deepika Padukone is seen in an extended cameo.
