Jailer Actor G Marimuthu Dies Of Heart Attack; Tamil Film Industry Express Condolences

Prominent name in Tamil Nadu film industry, G Marimuthu died on Friday of a heart attack. The actor-director was recently seen in Rajnikanth-starrer blockbuster Jailer.

Film trade analyst Ramesh Bala confirmed the news on X.

Marimuthu was known for his role in Tamil Nadu television series Ethirneechal. He has also worked with filmmaker Mani Ratnam, among others, as an assistant director.

As per reports, G Marimuthu collapsed around 8:30 AM in Friday morning while dubbing for his TV series Ethirneechal in Chennai. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he declared dead.
