Senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament Ravi Shankar Prasad lashed out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for making ‘baseless’ remarks in London and demanded unconditional ‘apology’ from Gandhi.
Minutes after Rahul Gandhi briefed media after coming back to India, Mr. Prasad said that the party will campaign across the country for an apology from Rahul Gandhi.
“Its his habit to speak baseless things. Not for once did he say today that he’s denying his remarks made in the UK,” Mr Prasad said. He further questioned that ‘how long Rahul Gandhi will mislead the country?’
“The BJP reiterates that he said that ‘America and Europe should take note of India’s democratic backsliding.’ Its his habit to insult the feelings of Indians by criticising Indian democracy abroad,” BJP leader added.
The BJP veteran further claimed that Rahul Gandhi is ‘novice’ in terms of foreign policy and opined him to ‘brush up his information on foreign policy of India.’
