BIG! ISRO Successfuly Launches Maiden Sun Mission Aditya-L1 – WATCH

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully launched it’s maiden Solar mission, Aditya-L1, on Saturday, September 2 from the second launch pad of Sriharikota.

Meanwhile, ISRO confirmed the successful launch of Aditya-L1 mission by stating it is accomplished successfully.

The vehicle has placed the satellite precisely into its intended orbit. India’s first solar observatory has begun its journey to the destination of Sun-Earth L1 point,” ISRO wrote on XI.

Aditya-L1 carries seven scientific instruments designed to investigate various aspects of the Sun’s behaviour.

The includes Visible Emission Line Coronagraph (VELC), Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (SUIT), Aditya Solar Wind Particle Experiment (ASPEX), and a Plasma Analyser Package for Aditya (PAPA).
