IPL Founder Lalit Modi on ’24/7 oxygen support’ reveals suffering from COVID and pneumonia

Indian Premier League Founder Lalit Modi on January 13 (Friday), revealed that he is currently on 24/7 oxygen support, and suffering from both COVID and deep pneumonia. In an Instagram post, Mr. Modi informed that he is currently on 34/7 Oxygen support.

“After three weeks in confinement with a double COVID in two weeks accompanied by influenza and deep pneumonia – and post trying several times to leave. Finally landed via air ambulance accompanied by two doctors and a super-efficient son who did so much for me back in London. The flight was smooth. Unfortunately, still on 24/7 external oxygen,” Mr. Modi wrote.

In his another Insta post, Mr. Modi expressed gratitude towards the doctors who are treating him.

“With my two saviours. The two Drs seriously monitored me for 3 weeks. I have no words to describe that they sacrificed their time etc to get me out. Still need time to recover. Currently on 24/7 external oxygen,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh wished him ‘speedy recovery’ as the Tubrantor wrote ‘Get Well Soon.’
