IPL 2023: MS Dhoni likely to play his last IPL match at Chepauk Stadium on this date

Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has carved a rich legacy in Indian Premier League. When ace cricket commentators and analyst Harsha Bhogle reiterated the same to the MS Dhoni in 2021, CSK skipper assured everyone that he ‘has not left behind.’
However, MS had confirmed one aspect that that he will bid farewell to IPL at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai, in-front of his home crowd. Two years down the line, ‘Thala’ is all set to lead the Yellow Army in Indian Premier League 2023, and IPL is back with home-and-away format.
And if fresh reports are to believed, MS Dhoni might leave a glorious legacy behind in-front of home crowd in 2023. According to source-based report published in InsideSports, Dhoni will play his last IPL game at Chepauk Stadium on May 14.
As per CSK itinerary, Chennai Super Kings will play their last league stage game at home against Kolkata Knight Riders on May 14, and that might be Thala’s last home game.
“Yes, it will be Dhoni’s last season as a player. This is what we know so far. But of course, it’s his decision. He has not official communicated to the management that he will into retirement, but we are prepared for his farewell,” a source close to the development told InsideSports.
