I Hope This Win Inspires Boys And Girls: Kriti Sanon On National Award Win

Kriti Sanon has revealed that she celebrated her National Film Awards 2023 win by having a pizza with her parents. Notably, Kriti won the National Awards in Best Actor (Female) category alongwith Alia Bhatt for Gangubai Kathiawadi.

While speaking to ANI, Kriti revealed that she was in a meeting when she received the news and immediately informed her parents, who got very emotional.

“I was in a meeting in the evening and all of a sudden, I stated getting non-stop calls. I couldn’t understand what was going on. I literally froze for a few seconds. I told my manager to hold the meeting for a while. I quickly ran towards my parents and shared the news with them. We hugged, we cried…We all got so emotional,” she said.

Adding further, she revealed that her mother asked to order some pizzas and that’s how family celebrated the win.
