Indian national succumbs to bullet shot amid clashes in Sudan

Albert Augestine, an Indian national in Sudan has succumbed to bullet injuries after being hit on Saturday, April 14, amid intense clashes between army and para-military forces.

Indian Embassy in Sudan informed about an unfortunate development via a tweet. Taking to Twitter, Indian Embassy wrote, “It has been reported that Mr. Albert Augestine, an Indian National working in a Dal Group Company in Sudan who got hit by a stray bullet yesterday succumbed to his injuries.”

Notably, Sudan is currently witnessing a fierce battle between its military and a rival paramilitary forces on Saturday in its capital Khartoum as well as in other areas, reportedly causing death of over 200 people.

Earlier, Indian Embassy urged the Indian nationals in the country to stay indoor as massive clashes broke out in Sudan.
