Ind vs WI: Yashasvi Jaiswal Hits Half-Century On Test Debut; Gets Standing Ovation From Virat Kohli And Rahul Dravid – WATCH

Dominicia: 21-year-old Yashasvi Jaiswal etched his name in the history books on Thursday, July 13 as he smashed half-century on his Test debut on Day 2 of the first Test between India and West Indies in Dominicia.

While chasing 150 in its 1st innings, Indian openers – Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal – have stitched match defining partnership as they remained unbeaten till 106 off 36 overs.

Meanwhile, Jaiswal completed his half-century on Day 2 with an incredible boundary to Alzari Joseph in the 33rd over.

Much to expectations, legends like Virat Kohli, Rahul Dravid, Ravindra Jadeja and Ajinkaya Rahane were on their feet as the whole dressing room gave a standing ovation to the right-handed batter. Watch the video here.

Earlier, Caribbean batters had a horrific show as they could only manage to score 150 in their 1st innings as R Ashwin ran riot in Domincia.

The top-seeded off-spinner picked five wickets in the game and claimed 700 international wickets.
