Ind Vs WI: Virat Bhai Backed Me And Told Me To Bat At No. 4, Says Ishan Kishan

After settling to just 1 run in his debut Test innings, Ishan Kishan made most of the opportunity in the second Test match Ind vs Wi as the left-handed batter smashed blistering half-century in the intervening night of July 23-24.
With the help of two sixes and four boundaries, Ishan smashed his maiden Test fifty in just 34 balls and propelled India’s score to 181 in the 2nd innings.
While Ishan Kishan hit second fastest fifty for the Indian wicket-keeper, he also shocked many by coming to bat at number 4.
Usually Virat Kohli bats at number 4 but in the second innings 2nd Test Ind vs Wi, Ishan Kishan was promoted to number 4. After the day ended, Ishan revealed how Virat Kohli himself came with an idea to promote him and asked the youngster to bat at number 4.

“Was really special. I knew what the team needed for me. Everyone backed me. Virat bhai backed me and told me to go and play your game. Let’s hope we will finish the game tomorrow. It was Virat bhai who took the initiative and told that I should go in,” he said.
Meanwhile, India has set the target of 365 runs for West Indies on the last day of the second Test match. While chasing the huge total, West Indies has already been reduced to 76/2 and needs 289 more runs on Day 5.
