Ind vs SL, 2nd T20I: Arshdeep Singh registers unwanted record with five no-balls during 2nd T20I between India and Sri Lanka

India’s young pacer Arshdeep Singh registered an unwanted record to his name during 2nd T20I against Sri Lanka, at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. After registering a narrow win in the 1st T20I against Sri Lanka, Team India is hoping to clinch three-match T20Is by winning the second game of the series at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Pune.
Hardik Pandya-won the toss and opted to field first, but Sri Lankan openers soon turned the game on its head as they had a blistering start. While Arshdeep missed the series opener, the left-arm pacer had an unlikely start in the second game as he was smashed for 19-runs in the very first over. Pathum Nissanka went for a boundary on the very first ball, followed by a four and a six by Kusal Mendis off the two no-balls.
Arshdeep didn’t stop there, but he bowled yet another no-ball on the fourth and fifth delivery of the 19th over. Notably, Indian pacer surpassed Zimbabwe’s Richard Ngarva (10), West Indies pacer Oshane Thomas (10), Keemo Pauk (10), and Pakistan’s Hasan Ali (10).
