ICC Test Rankings: Virat Kohli sets the chart on fire, jumped seven places after daddy ton in Ahmedabad Test

Indian batter Virat Kohli has taken a significant leap in ICC Test rankings as the batter propelled seven places in the chart to be ranked 13 on the list. The 34y-year-old is certainly back in his best.

The star batter is not just looking in magical touch with the bat but he is also scoring runs with a relatively better average and strike rate.

After gracing white-ball cricket, expectations were high from the Delhi boy in four-match Test series against Australia. Much to everyone’s expectations, Virat was middling the ball well but was not able to convert 30s and 40s into big scores.

However, Kohli kept his best for the fourth and final Test in Ahmedabad when 34-year-old scored his 28th Test ton and ended his long-awaited century drought in red-ball cricket.

As per latest released ICC rankings, Virat Kohli made a significant improvement in his rankings in Test format of the game. Only Rishabh Pant (9th) and Rohit Sharma (10th) are the Indian batters ahead of Virat Kohli in the rankings.
