I will not contest election, campaigning for BJP only for CM: Kiccha Sudeep

Amid speculations of joining BJP ahead of high-stake Karnataka elections, popular Kannada actor Sudeep Sanjeev aka Kiccha Sudeep has claimed that he will only campaign for the chief minister Basavaraj Bommai and will not join Bhartiya Janta Party at any capacity.

“I will just campaign and not contest polls. This is how I repay my gratitude. It is about the party..there are many people who have supported me through my life and one of them is CM Bommai,” the actor said.

While speaking at a press conference with Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai, Sudeep said that he shared a deep personal bond with CM Bommai and will campaign for the BJP out of respect and admiration.

The Kannada actor revealed that he has told CM that he is campaigning for BJP for his sake.
