I Want To Shut Out Everything: Rohit Sharma Ahead Of World Cup

Months ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has said that he seeks the same mental status as he was in during 2019 World Cup.

Not juts as a captain, but being among the most experienced batter in the group and responsibility to set the foundation top of the order, Rohit Sharma will have numerous tasks to think about. And everything Infront of the home crowd, Rohit will certainly feel the pressure.

But, Indian skipper is keeping himself relaxed and trying to shut out all the external pressure.

I want to shut out everything. I want to get into the phase I was in before the 2019 World Cup. I was in great frame of mind and prepared really well for the tournament,” he told PTI.

Speaking of Rohit’s performance in the 2019 World Cup, the then Indian opener amassed 648 runs including five hundreds.

I was in a good shape, good mindset what were the rights things that I was doing before the 2019 World Cup as a cricketer and as a person. I want to revisit that thought process of mine,” he added.
