Newly recruited Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal feels blessed to be able to play alongside Virat Kohli at the start of his career.
While Yashasvi provided solid start foundation to the visitors with his 57-run knock on Day 1 of the second Test against West Indies, Virat Kohli stepped up once again in the middle order to sail India in a commanding position.
The 34-year-old is currently playing at 87 and will look towards his 29th Test century when he will resume the proceedings on Day 2 at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad.

Meanwhile, Yashasvi Jaiswal has confessed that he is extremely blessed that he is getting so much to learn from former the Indian skipper.
“It is amazing to see him bat. What can I say? He is a legend. I am blessed to play with him. There’s a lot of things to learn from him be it cricket and outside of it. I try to pick his mind,” Jaiswal told reporters after Day 2.

After West Indies invited India to bat first, Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal added 139-runs for the first wicket before Caribbean bowlers made an impressive comeback by reducing India to 182/4.
