34-year-old Virat Kohli possess unprecedented capability to win games single-handedly and least to say about his on-field fitness. The Indian batter has notched up four centuries at international stage since Asia Cup 2022 in UAE, and two consecutive centuries in recently-concluded Indian Premier League.
The dynamic Indian batter is regarded as modern day great and will carry lot of responsibility when he will step in the field during upcoming ODI World Cup 2023, later this year in India.
While many raise questions regarding his future in the Indian cricket team, West indies legend Chris Gayle feels Virat Kohli has one more World Cup in him. While speaking to Times of India, Gayle said;
“Virat Kohli has another World Cup in him. I don’t think this is going to be his last World Cup. I think he has another World Cup in him.”
Indians are favourites:
Commenting on India’s chances in upcoming ICC tournament, Gayle said that host India is hot-favourite to lift the title as Rohit Sharma-led side will be playing in home conditions.
“India are favourites, they play at home as well. So, it’s going to be very interesting. We want to see the team they’re actually going to select,” Gayle added.
