Kolkata: Kolkata Knight Riders middle-order sensation Rinku Singh had a terrific day with the bat at iconic Eden Gardens as the right-handed batter smashed 46 off just 33 deliveries in the 1^st innings against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Singh stitched match-defining 103-run partnership with Shardul Thakur as the duo propelled team’s total to 204 in the 1^st innings. Meanwhile, Rinku Singh engaged in a hilarious conversation with commentator Sanju Manjrekar post-1^st innings.

During the mid-innings interview when Rinku Singh was asked about his brilliant knock, KKR batter mistakenly said, ‘he will always try to win games for his team.’

Talking about match, KKR is on the verge of registering their maiden win in the season as their bowlers rattled RCB’s batting line-up. RCB is currently reeling at 123/9 in 17.3 overs.
