Haris Rauf And Naseem Shah Doubtful For Remaining Asia Cup 2023

Colombo: Pakistan has reportedly dealt with a massive blow as emerging reports have hinted towards Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah likely to rule out of the remaining Asia Cup 2023.

As reported by ESPNCricinfo, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah are certain to miss Sri Lanka vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 game on Thursday. Meanwhile, PCB has called Shahnawaz Dahani and Zaman Khan to Sri Lanka as backups.

Haris Rauf, who is also a leading wicket-taker in the Asia Cup 2023, experienced discomfort in his right flank during India vs Pakistan encounter on Sunday. He didn’t participate in the game on Reserve Day.

Whereas, Naseem Shah suffered shoulder injury during the match on Monday and had to leave the field in the 49^th over. Rauf and Shah were not able to come out to bat in Pakistan’s unsuccessful chase.

Pakistan suffered record 228-run defeat by Team India.
