Gunda: DCW Chief Swati Maliwal Slams WFI Chief Brij Bhushan Singh For Mishandling With Female Journalist

Delhi Commission for Women Chief Swati Maliwal reacted to Brij Bhushan Singh mishandling with Times Now reporter outside Lucknow Airport when latter confronted the WFI Chief about chilling details of Delhi Police chargesheet.

In her first tweet, Swati Maliwal called WFI Chief Brij Bhushan Singh ‘gunda,’ adding if he ‘has the guts to behave like this with a female reporter on camera, how he must be behaving with women off camera! This man’s place is in jail not in the parliament!’

In a video which has now gone viral on social media, Brij Bhushan Singh told the reporter to ‘shut up’ when he was asked if he will resign from his position as WFI Chief. Singh also mishandled with the female reporter when she continued to confront him.

In another tweet, Swati Maliwal said that ‘there is a limit to shamelessness and hooliganism.’ “On camera #Brijbhushan is misbehaving with a female journalist. The way this man was saved, his spirits are now on cloud nine. It is known that whatever you do, no one can spoil anything,” she wrote.

The Indian Express in its report revealed that Delhi Police in its chargesheet has concluded that Brij Bhushan Singh has been found guilty of ‘sexually offence, stalking and molestation’ with women wrestlers during his tenure as WFI Chief.
