Anti India Slogans: Gambhir on Showing Middle-Finger During Asia Cup Game

Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has claimed that it was anti-India slogans by some Pakistanis during one of India’s Asia Cup games, that provoked him to show middle-finger.
Notably, Gautam Gambhir became talk of the town on Monday evening as his video of showing middle-finger towards the crowd went viral on social media.

While many internet users claimed that it was ‘Kohli Kohli’ chant that triggered such a sharp reaction from the BJP MP, Indian cricketer made some stunning revealtions.

Gambhir claims ‘Anti-India slogans were raised’
“The truth about the video that went viral is that if you raise anti-India slogans and speak about Kashmir then the person before you will obviously react and not smile and leave. There were 2-3 Pakistanis there who were speaking anti-India things and things on Kashmir. So, it was my natural reaction. I can’t hear anything against my country. So, that was my reaction,” Gambhir told media.
Meanwhile, Nepal posted 230 in 48.2 overs on the back of impressive batting from Aasif Sheikh (58) and Sompal Kami (48). For India Md. Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja picked three wickets in the 1st innings.
