Gadar 2 Enters Rs. 500 Crore Club; Eying Pathan’s Numbers

Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 has become only the second Hindi film to enter Rs. 500 crore club after Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan.
The sequel of the 2001 mega blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha collected Rs. 8 crore on it’s fourth Sunday, taking it’s total tally to Rs. 501 Crore, reported industry tracker Sacnilk.
With that development, Gadar 2 has become third Indian film to breach Rs. 500 crore mark after SS Rajamouli’s Bahubali2: The Conclusion and Pathan.

Gadar 2 is also the fastest film to enter the prestigious club. While Bahubali and Pathan took 34 and 28 days to cross Rs. 500 crore, Gadar 2 achieved the feat in 24 days.
Gadar 2 chasing Pathan’s numbers
Released on August 11, Gadar-2 collected Rs. 501 crore in India and it’s worldwide numbers have crossed Rs. 650 crore. The film will now chase Pathan’s Rs. 524 crore mark to become highest grossing Hindi film.
