G20 Summit: UK Announces Record Climate Aide To Green Climate Fund

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced a record climate aid commitment as the G20 nears its commencement on Sunday, September 10.

As per British High Commission, the UK will provide USD 2 billion to the Green Climate Fund which is the biggest single funding commitment the country has made to help the world tackle climate change, which was established by 194 countries following the Copenhagen Accord at COP15.

Earlier, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak also visited Akshardham Temple in New Delhi with his wife on Septembe 10, Sunday.
