FIR Against Udhayanidhi Stalin And Priyank Kharge For ‘Sanatan Dharm’ Remark

FIR has been registered against Tamil Nadu Minister and DMK Leader Udhaynidhi Stalin and Congress Minister in Karnataka Priyank Kharge, in Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur for allegedly ‘hurting religious sentiments’ in connection with their remark on ‘Sanatana Dharma.’
Details in the FIR:
The leaders have been booked under following sections of the Indian Penal Code.
- Sections 153A – promoting enmity between different groups on the grounds of religion.
- 295A – deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings.
The complaint in the FIR:
“Udayanidhi Stalin’s act adversely affected the maintenance of enmity and harmony between different groups on the basis of religion,” the complainant mentioned in the FIR.

Bounty on Udhyanidhi’s head:
Earlier, on September 5, a seer from Ayodhya, Paramhans Acharya, placed a bounty of Rs. 10 crore on ‘Udhayanidhi’s head.’ The seer further said that if required, he himself will behead MK Stalin’s son and will also increase the bounty of Rs. 10 crore.
