FACT CHECK || Reports of two WPL Commentators sacked for SEXIST remark is FAKE 

The inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League has kicked off on a high. We have already witness best of the girls as high-scoring games, match-defining knocks and bowlers decimating their opponents have been a regular affair in the cash-rich league. 

Meanwhile, a report of two WPL commentators being fired for allegedly making sexist comments on women cricketers surfaced on internet. 


As per claims, two Women Premier League commentator were sacked from their position for making sexist remark on women cricketers. 

Fact check: 

When the post, which was shared on social media was looked closely it appeared fake as ‘sarcasm’ was written in the left side. 

Event the news originated from the a page that posts memes and jokes. Also the Twitter account that shared the post also clarified in the comment section that it was a joke.
