Manipur Violence: Ex-Army Chief Hints At Foreign Involvement Behind Manipur’s Instability – Details Inside

Former Army Chief General MM Naravane on Friday made a shocking admission when he said that the involvement of foreign agencies in the Manipur violence ‘cannot be ruled out’ as he capped his claim with ‘Chinese aid to various insurgent groups.’
General (retd) Naravane further said that the instability in border state is bad for the country’s overall national security.
Notably, he was interacting with the journalists at the India International Centre on the topic ‘National Security Perspective,’ when he showed confidence with the government by saying that ‘those in the chair doing their best.’
“The involvement of the foreign agencies, not only I say cannot be ruled out but I will say they are definitely there, especially Chinese aid to various insurgent groups,” General (retd) Naravane said.
