Delhi Murder: CM Arvind Kejriwal Requests HM Amit Shah And LG To ‘Make Police Little Active’

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has urged Lieutenant Governor and the Home Minister Amit Shah to ‘make the police a little active’ following brutal killing of 23-year-old girl on Friday, July 28 in Malviya Nagar.
Notably, a college-going girl was brutally smashed by an iron rod on her head and was left murdered in Malviya Nagar by a suspect, identified as Irfan. The Delhi Police has arrested 28-year-old Irfan and claimed that the murder took place over denial of the marriage.
Taking to Twitter, Arvind Kejriwal said;
“Another daughter was brutally murdered in Delhi, it is very sad. Law and order has become a serious issue in Delhi. It is a request to the LG and the Home Minister, make the police a little active. The safety of the daughters of Delhi and the people of Delhi is very important.”
Meanwhile, DCP South District has claimed that the dead body of a girl in the park beneath a bench was formed. “Blood was oozing out from her head and blood lying around her head. An iron rod was found near her body,” DCP South District said.
