David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Yash Dhull’s bats, pads, shoes and other equipements stolen, Delhi Capitals lodge complaint: Report

New Delhi: Delhi Capitals skipper David Warner, and other few players like MItchell Marsh, Yash Dhull lost their precious bats, pads and other equipments after match aganst Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Delhi Capitals is not just having a horrific season in-the-field but their time off-the-field is also not going so well. According to fresh reports, Delhi Capitals players lost their kit bags in transit after landing in Delhi airport from Bangalore where they were beaten by RCB, last Saturday.
Among the stolen equipment include 16 bats, pads, shoes, thigh-pads and gloves. As per reports, the bat belongs to DC skipper David Warner, all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, Phil Salt and Yash Dhull.
“All of them were shocked when they heard that everyone had lost something or the other from their kit bags. This is the first time such an incident has happened and the matter was soon raised to the logistics department, police and later at the airport. The investigation is on,” The Indian Express quoted one of the source close to the franchise.
DCP Airport Devesh Kumar Mahla told the publication that two men came on Tuesday evening at the IGI Airport and informed them that their kit was missing from their bags. “Complaint has been registered and appropriate action would be taken,” he informed.
