BJP Leader’s one-month old daughter rescue after being kidnapped, Delhi Police suspect family member

A day after Bhartiya Janta Yuva Mircha president Vasu Rukhar’s daughter was allegedly kidnapped by two bike-borne men in Central Delhi and later recovered, the Delhi Police is reportedly questioning the family members and domestic help.

Fresh reports in the case have suggested that the Delhi Police is suspecting a family member being the conspirator of the kidnapping. The one-month-old child was allegedly kidnapped on Wednesday evening, and later found at a temple.

DCW takes suo motu cognizance:

DCW Chief Swati Maliwal has taken suo motu cognizance of the matter and sought the details of action taken in this matter. Mrs. Maliwal has also asked Delhi Police to provide details of the FIR registered in this case.

The police on Thursday, informed they received calls around 5.15 PM about strangers snatching away an infant of a Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha leader from outside Jhandelwalan temple.

“We recovered her nearby Shani Mandir Mauris Nagar in North Delhi,” the police said. The police has registered a case under section 363 (punishment for kidnapping) of the Indian Penal Code.
