COVID: India records over 1,800 COVID-cases on Sunday, highest daily tally in 149 days

The COVID-scare has returned to our daily life with India recording 1,805 COVID-cases on Sunday, highest daily tally in the last 149 days at 1,890.

With Sunday’s figure into account, active COVID-cases tally in India stands at 10,300.

According to Union Health Ministry, four COVID deaths were reported in last 24 hours, each from Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh.

As per ministry’s website, 220.65 correct doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination drive and 56,551 corona tests were conducted in the last 24
