Agra: CM Yogi Adityanath Renames Jama Masjid Metro Station As Mankameshwar Mandir Metro Staion – Report

Agra: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday reportedly renamed Jama Masjid Metro station in Agra as Mankameshwar Mandir metro station.

Notably, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister inaugurated the high-speed train trial of Agra Metro on Wednesday and announced that the metro service will begin by February 2024.

Meanwhile, reports suggested that CM Yogi Adityanath has changed the name of Jama Masjid metro station in Agra as Mankameshwar Mandir metro station, citing public’s sentiments.

While speaking, he said that he feels extremely proud that now the high-speed trials of Agra metro have begun. “The team has done commendable job. Metro services will be operational for the people of Agra by February 2024,” he said.
