CAB Cancels Virat Kohli Birthday Bash At Eden Gardens, Only Fireworks For Fans

WEST BENGAL: The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) had initially planned an extravagant celebration for Virat Kohli birthday at the iconic Eden Gardens but has now scaled back its grandiose intentions.
Many of the previously proposed festivities have been trimmed down, with only a fireworks display remaining for fans at the stadium.
CAB Scales Back Virat Kohli’s Birthday Celebration
The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) initially planned an extravagant celebration for Virat Kohli’s 35th birthday at the Eden Gardens but has now decided to scale back their grand plans.
Revised Birthday Plans
The original plans included a special cake-cutting ceremony and the distribution of 70,000 Kohli masks to fans as a tribute to the star cricketer. However, these have been changed.
Cake-Cutting Ceremony Shifts to Dressing Room
The planned cake-cutting ceremony that was to be a public event has been scrapped. Instead, Virat Kohli’s birthday cake will be sent directly to the dressing room.
Fireworks and Laser Shows for Fans
Despite the scaling back of festivities, CAB will still provide fans with a fireworks show and laser displays for their enjoyment at the stadium.
Pundits’ Expectations for Kohli’s 49th Century
With 48 One Day International (ODI) centuries to his name, there’s speculation that Kohli has a significant opportunity to score his 49th century against South Africa on his birthday at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata.
