Breaking | Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh surrenders in Rode, native village of Bhindrewala

Punjab: Khalistani separatist Amritpal Singh, who was on a run since March 18, surrendered before Mohalle police in Punjab.
Reportedly, Amritpal will be shifted to Assam’s Dibrugarh jail, where eight of his aides, including Palpreet Singh, are already held under the National Security Act.
Amritpal Singh gave a sermon at Gurudwara in Rode village of Moga district before surrendering. According to reports he himself informed police after reaching Gurudwara.
Notably, Jasveer Singh Rode, nephew of Jarnail Singh Bhindrawala, helped in the surrender of Amritpal Singh. Amritpal Singh surrendered in Rode, the native village of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, who was killed in Operation Blue Star.
