In a shock to many, Twitter has been hit by a global outage restricting thousands from accessing the social media platform. Several users have expressed issue of getting the notification of ‘Cannot Retrieve tweets’ error when they are trying to view or post tweets.

Some users have also reported seeing ‘Rate limit exceeded error message.’ Meanwhile, Twitter has not released any official comment on the matter.
