India and Australia are one of the most celebrated rivalries in the game of cricket. Both the teams are regarded among the best in the world, and has a rich history of producing high-octane contest whenever they face each other.

The glorious history of India vs Australia, rivalry will add yet another chapter on February 9 (Thursday), when both the teams will kick-start fresh edition of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Ahead of the series opener, lot of talk is going around in regards with the nature of the Nagpur pitch, where first-Test is scheduled to take place. While Australian cricket fraternity is taking shots at Indian cricket fraternity for preparing a turner, the host are paying hardly any attention to such claims.

Meanwhile, an Indian journalist has schooled Australian cricket fraternity by remining them of their shallow behaviour when India toured Australia during 2020-21 edition of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

In a series of tweets, the Indian journo revealed how Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar requested for a pair of pads, but it was denied from the Australian camp and hence, the Indian all-rounder had to play with ill-fitting pads. Check out the Twitter thread.

The Indian journalist didn’t stop there but mentioned how speedster Ishant Sharma had to settle with a simple race and dal in lunch.

India and Australia will play four-Test series followed by three one-day international. While Australia has already qualified for the World Test Championship finals, India needs to win at-least three games to make the cut.
